HOME
Home is not just a place, it's a part of me and my family.
Home means a place where I can be safe to do the things I want to do even if it's hard and I need some assistance. Home is a place where I sleep peacefully all night, nightmares or not, and still feel I have company. Home is my bonding building, one of a kind even, and my home, my happy place, watches over me so if I’m in trouble or in danger and I’m feeling left out, I know I'm safe because I know that home is there for me when things are tough.
Home is a place where I can pay attention and focus on important things like getting my sleep because sleep is important for getting energy to get ready for the next day. Another important thing is having fun, home can help me feel that I have company so I can have fun in so many ways. Home plays with me when I need someone or something to interact with me to keep my body moving.
To me I feel happy I have a roof over my head not just the roof though, to me my property is part of my home too because I have a lot of different places to wander around and explore. My land is not only my home but also the animals as well. I can’t give the home all the credit though because without my parents hard work we wouldn't live in my home and we would have to live outside, but even if we did I know there is a lot of kind people out there that would help us, and that's why I’m writing this letter because $30,000 will be donated to people who need it.
Home is not just made with material it’s mostly made with love, so I believe the more you love the home the more the home loves you. My home protects me, it's my guardian angel and I will love it to the grave. I love my home no matter the size, it can be small, it can be big or it can even be enormous! I feel happy to see my home every day after school because sometimes I feel tired after a long day of learning things, so when I get home I would be more than welcome to sit on the couch.
