What Home Means To Me

A home to me is built on love. The foundation of my home is my parents. They are strong and they keep us grounded. My siblings are the doors because they open up to me. My pets are the bricks, they stack up all the memories and support me when I’m feeling down. The laughter in our home is like the wood because it is all around us, and family meals are like nails because they keep us together. Nature is the roof that gives us shelter and surrounds us. A home to me is not tools, wood or nails. A home to me is peace, love, and family.
