Home to me means family. I love my family. Me and my two brothers, mom, and dad recently lost our grandfather after he had a massive brain bleed. He was in Palliative care for 4 days then he passed on New Year's Day at 3:27 a.m. Now me and my two brothers are lonely because every day we used to go visit him for 20 minutes or an hour at night so he wouldn't be lonely, but now we're alone and we have no one to visit. From now on we are going to call New Year's Day GPeck Day. My grandfather's name was Gary Peck. Everyday when I drive to school I see two eagles on the tree. Every day the same two trees and the same two eagles are on the trees. I like to think that it is my grandfather because he loves eagles and I like to think that it's my grandmother because now they are together. Next I love Christmas. It is amazing because every Christmas we have a special Christmas. Now my brother has a girlfriend so she comes over. All my family is there and we take turns opening presents. Then we eat cookies and cinnamon rolls and we drink hot chocolate. Then we do more presents and lastly we do stockings. That is my favorite part. After that we go to my grandma’s and have a good supper. Then me and all my cousins go outside and play on their rink. It is so fun. We all go skating and play hockey.
