The Meaning of Home

Home isn't just walls and bricks, home is love, peace, and a place of belonging, kindness, safety, and comfort. Lots of people have to move away from their homes due to wars, new jobs, and university. It doesn't matter how big or small your home is, cause it's not that, that matters, it's the love, the laughter, and the joy that my home brings to me. When some people think of home, they think of a hospital or under a bridge, but for me, I think of my house. Memories are made at home like birthdays, Christmas, doing the chores, having a night with your friends, or even just playing a game. In every home, there is a favorite spot, mine’s the kitchen because there’s food. Every home should be clean and tidy. Home is a spot to make you feel good, even when you're down. Home is a spot where we can be ourselves. In my home me and my dad watch the hockey game every Saturday night. We cheer for Edmonton, Montreal and Tampa Bay
