The Meaning of Home

As a 12-year-old girl, I think the meaning of home is not just about eating and sleeping at home; it's about love, peace, belonging, and making memories. Home is where you can go home and feel safe and talk to someone you feel safe around. Some meanings of home are hygiene; some words for hygiene are hot water, running water, clean clothing, and comfort. To me, I think home is about your household, your pets, the surroundings you have, a roof over your head, and the memories you make at your home. To me, my home is my house because it was the house where we got Izzy. Izzy is my dog, and I love her so much. Another meaning of home is safety in your home. You should feel safe if you don't feel safe. You're probably not comfortable where you are. Home is a place where you should feel loved. and be giving love to the people you love. At home, you should have food, shelter, peace, space, and warmth. Home is a place where you should feel happy, belong, and be cared for. Home is about your family. You should have someone you feel safe with. If I had a house but no family or friends or no one to talk to, it wouldn't feel like home to me because I would be lonely. At home, I love spending time with my family and watching movies with them. I love my home, and you should too if you don't, you are not at home. This is the meaning of home for me.
