The Meaning of Home

Home is not just a house. Home is where you can be yourself. A safe place filled with love and comfort. A place where you can talk to someone, in privacy and alone with your family. You feel different emotions every day. Home is where you can let all those feelings come out. For instance, say your boss was getting very mad at you today, and you're feeling down. When you come home to a private space, let out those emotions. Being safe is also very important. Running water, no leaks, no mold, and no bugs or animals living in a household. But it’s not about the house. It’s about you being safe. If you're at your home and getting hit and abused . That’s not home. When you are with those who love you that’s what you call home. That's all you need. Just home. Home is a place where you can clear your mind. I get it, not every home is loved. But being grateful gives your home an advantage. You get a feeling when you find your home, A specific feeling that makes you feel calm, happy, and peaceful. To me, home means happiness, comfort, safety, and love. That’s what it means. A home is filled with joy. Not every home is the same. Every home has its own way of living. But there is a thing every home has in common. Not talked about a lot, but every home is special. That is the meaning of home.
