What Home Means To Me!

Home… it’s a really beautiful word. A word that warms anyone’s heart! Home means many different things for everyone. Maybe it is your homeland or your neighborhood. For me it means everything! Every home has its own fleeting smell, my home’s smell brings back all my memories of playing, spending time with my family and unpacking all our stuff after we moved there for me to cherish. Even though it’s just one thing that means ‘home’ to me, it still impacts my everyday life greatly! Home is a place that I crave even when I am staying at a grand hotel because the comfort and familiar scent that I love can never be compared to anything else, however comfortable it is! With its cozy sofas that make you dump yourself onto, to the afternoon light that filters through the blinds, lighting up the mirror art paintings sitting on the wall and the wafting smell of spices roasting in the kitchen! In my home it feels like I can forget all my worries and melt away into an armchair. To me home is not just four walls, it’s a safe haven where I can share my deepest emotions and feel free to express all my feelings! It’s a place where I can truly be myself without being judged. Despite all of this, there is one thing that is the most important and crucial of them all for me, it’s my family! My parents support me and help me everywhere and most of all when I’m stuck on something. What I am today is all because of my helpful parents! Just being with my loved ones and creating new memories with them everyday is the very core meaning of what home means to me! Home is a wonderful aspect of life and I think everyone deserves to have one because it’s not just a place… it’s their own place. A home where they can sleep peacefully knowing that the roof on top is theirs!
