What home means to me

Home is not just a structure like a house. A home is different. A home is filled with all sorts of memories. In a home you also feel welcomed. Not like it’s your first time there. A home is not all about the nice furniture or nice rooms. It's about who's in it, and what makes home special is the memories. I have different memories and so do you and that's what makes it special. When I get home from school I watch a bit of tv until my mom gets home. I'm always excited to see my mom because I love her so much. When I smell the delicious smell of my moms my moms cooking it reminds me of how grateful I am to have it every night. I know that some people don't get to have a meal every night. Even if it's a burger from McDonalds, I'm just glad to spend time with my family. Then we sit down at the dinner table and talk about our days. We have some laughs and then we clean up and get ready for bed. What I also love about my home is my pets. I have 2 cats, a dog and a bearded dragon. Every little scratch, stain, dent is what makes your home. Even gloomy memories or sad moments are what makes a home. All homes are different like mine and your home are different, Every home is different I would like to thank Habitat for humanity for giving a safe space to live and create memories in. Thank you so much for your support to other people.
