Habitat Homes

Habitat for Humanity is a program made to build people homes that can't afford homes. This program runs all on donations. It is such an important part of Grey Bruce because it makes sure that everyone has a place to call "Home". Homes are being built in Saugeen Nation. There is one also being built on French Bay Road, and a couple that are built in Toronto. They are building homes and getting all the money that people need to build their own homes. They make it affordable for people so it doesn't take a whole bunch of money. Also sometimes the families that are getting homes built for them help out with building so that the construction workers don’t have to do all the work and they can get a hand. There are already many homes built in Grey Bruce; they have been helping families build homes since 1987 and have helped over 80 families build homes. In conclusion, people should support Habitat for Humanity because it helps so many families in life and even can help you one day. Homes can get very expensive and with Habitat for Humanity it makes it so much more affordable and makes building an affordable home easy and not so stressful.
