What Home Means to me

What does home mean to me? Home means somewhere I'm with my family, somewhere I am warm and safe. Home is somewhere where I'm watching movies and laughing with my family. Home is where I invite my friends, and play with my brother. Home is not just a place, it's somewhere where I feel safe, protected from the cold and storms. Home is where I can just be myself, I don't have to act like a person I'm not. Home is where I can wear the ugliest clothes and I won’t be judged by anyone. Home is where my parents and I celebrate holidays feeling happy. Home is where I cuddle up warmly in my blanket and read a book with my fairy lights up. Home is where I eat delicious home cooked meals with my family talking about my day because they care. When I am at home, I play hide and seek with my brother, and when he finds me joy finds me as well. With me and my brother it's like a never ending story. When I go home I feel the warmth of my family, and I know that I'm home. I realised that you can buy a house whenever you want and call it home, but will it feel like home? That's why I am grateful for my home.
