My Home

Home is a cozy, warm place where I feel relaxed. Nothing can disturb me from walking around and lying on my bed, I can watch tv with my loving family members and have joyful laughter together. It is my safe place where I know that I am protected with my people watching over me. Home is where, after eating the warm, comforting meals cooked by my parents, my tummy feels satisfied and content. The fresh and mouthwatering smell of spring rolls and rice pleasantly cooked from the pot is what gives me a delightful moment. Every little object at my house including flowers, fluffy carpet, comfy kitchen, piano, books, and my cozy couch has memories related to them. Home is where I am welcomed with a warm hug and a greeting to my parents after a long day at school. It is a place where I feel connected to my roots, as I can speak in my language. By playing games and having fun we get to share joy. Supporting each other in difficult situations and letting things go off when we get angry at each other. Home is a feeling of connection which is translated through love, no words needed. My parents love me and I know that. This is what home means to me.
