My Home, My Garden
To me, a home is like a garden.
Just like a garden, my home is a place where I can grow safely.
In my home, I feel protected, like a plant sheltered from strong weather.
My home makes me feel safe because there are people there to care for me that I can trust.
Some plants are moved to a new garden, and that is like being adopted.
Just like a garden, people chose to care for me and help me grow.
Not all plants grow at the same speed and that reminds me of my learning disability.
Sometimes I need more time to grow, but my home gives me patience and support.
In a garden, every plant matters, even if it grows differently.
A home can be big or small but what truly matters is how it makes people feel.
A garden also allows plants to grow in their own shape and colour.
My home lets me feel accepted for who I am.
The love and support I receive is like sunlight and water, helping me grow stronger every day.
Home is the garden where I am growing into the person I am meant to be.
