Home is Not just a Building

Home is not just a building. Home is a place where you feel safe. Home is where people like your parents, brothers and sisters protect you. You can have a home what is not your house. You can have a home anywhere, but only if you feel safe there. You can learn new things at home. Maybe have some quiet time in a special place. You can be your true self at home. No one can stop you. Home is comfortable. You have memories at home, some happy some sad but no matter what, you will always be safe at your house. Home has smells of yummy food like if your mom or dad are making popcorn or your favourite food. my home is safe to me because I have freedom, I can do my own things. I am loved by my family. My emotions at my home are happy and comfortable because I know that my parents and everybody in my household will protect me. Sometimes you can be sad, but you should know that you will always cheer up because home is your happy place. Home is where you can lay in bed and relax. You feel calm when you are relaxed. Home is where you are comfortable because you know the people around you. You know that you will be safe at your house, but if you don't feel safe that is not home because your home is safe. You know your home because you have memories there and you feel safe at your house. At home you can express ALL your emotions. Home is where you can be happy. That's why Habitat for Humanity is raising money for people who don't have a home. Because everyone should have a home.
