Home is a Safe Place

In my home I feel safe. I feel safe to eat, laugh and play. I like to spend time with my family and my favorite, safe feeling friends. Sometimes my brother and I sleep together in a bunk bed, sometimes if I'm lucky I can snuggle with him on the bottom bunk. Breakfast is always funny and busy at home. My dad always says “Are you ready to break the fast?” instead of saying “breakfast”. My mom always makes me have a bite of hash brown eggs even though i'm allergic but she makes me have a bite so I get rid of my allergy. I have gotten a lot better with my allergies as I have grown up. This is very important because I really love to try and eat all different types of foods that are approved by me. At home, I love eating food with my family and friends. When I feel sad my parents and cousins make me feel at home. For me home is when I come home and smell the amazing food that my mom, dad and grandma made.
