What My Home Means To Me
A home isn’t about the place it’s about the people who welcome you in and care for you. What home means to me is a crowded place with family and friends. It means a welcoming space where I can sit down and enjoy a book or another activity. It means a table full of food that I can enjoy. It means people who come to gather around and share stories, thoughts and even problems. It means somewhere where I can just be me without any protests, where I can draw the way I want to draw, read the way I want to read, be the way I want to be. It means a place where I can learn new things and open up to new ideas, where I can listen to others and learn about new things. It means a place where I’m allowed to go to school and when I grow up get the job I want. My home isn’t a place it’s characters and what we do there, it’s time to myself, time to hang out with family and friends, it’s a place where I can be me. I love my home and my home loves me. So what IS your home like, what can you make it BE like, and most of all what WILL it be like?
