Home isn't just a building

Home isn’t just a building, it’s a place to feel happy, safe, and loved. Home could be somewhere you don’t live, too. I’m so lucky to have a home to live in. One of my favourite things to do at home is playing with my sister. I also love movie nights with my family at home because I like snuggling up on the couch with my sister, my mom and my dad. When I get home from basketball or figure skating and I like seeing a nice warm meal on the stove or in the oven. When I’m eating dinner my family sometimes talks about our days or we tell funny jokes. Before bed I read books on my couch all wrapped up In fuzzy blankets. When I get home late from a sport I like seeing a warm meal on the stove or in the oven. When I’m eating dinner I love chatting with my family about our days or making funny jokes. I think everyone deserves a happy home that captures the memories. That’s why I’m so grateful for my home. By: Exton Casey
