A House Is Not A Home

A house is a building with four walls, a couple of windows, a shingled roof, a rug and chair, with the dusty and musty lingering air. With all the love and laughter, it starts to become something different, a building you can call your own. This is called a home! A home doesn’t need a rug or a mug, it only needs emotions both happy, sad and mad! A home is to make memories and a house is not like that at all! But for real, our real home is our eternal home forever, Heaven! This is a REAL place to call home. God designed us humans to love one another. Some people can’t afford to get a place to stay that they can call their own. Once we build them one they can make it a home! These things make God very proud of us because we are helping our neighbors. A home is a kind of place to be missed. When you get home there is love and joy the second you step foot into it. A house on the other hand can always be beaten. It is nothing more than walls, flooring and a roof. No memories, no love, no nothing. A house is not a home. Thank you Habitat for Humanity for the love and joy you bring to people! The way you work changes nations!
