Home

Home is with people I share life with. Home is when my grandmother visits. I don’t often get to see my grandmother, but when she comes, I feel a sense of joy. She cooks me delicious meals and it reminds me of when I was back in Switzerland with her. When we are in Switzerland, we always go swimming with my family. After a long day of swimming and little adventures, we cuddle up around the TV, and it is my favorite part of the day. I love my grandmother. Home is also with my immediate family. I am an only child with no brothers and no sisters. It is just my mom, my dad, and I. We do a lot of stuff together. My parents are the best. My mom is an excellent cook. The smell of her home cooked meals fills the house. My dad also makes great dinners, but my moms are the most memorable. At the dinner table we tell stories of our day. I feel safe with them. Home is not a physical place; it is the place where I spend time with my family.
