Home to me

Finally, I'm home again. Home is where you can feel safe and respected. Home is like having meals at the dinner table all together while the tv blares in the background. In my home I can be crazy and silly all the time with my family. Home is tasting soft chocolate pancakes on a Saturday morning made by my mom. In my home you will hear my little sister singing and playing while the rest of the family tries to relax on the couch. My home will always smell of amazing food that my mom cooks every day. Inside my home you’ll see my dad with his new gadget he has bought. You’ll hear me doing karaoke downstairs in my room while on the phone with friends. A home is where I can always be myself. At night I think about how fortunate I am to have a loving family, delicious food, and a home. Even if you don’t have a nice house with a roof it doesn’t mean you don’t have a home. A home isn’t just a house; it’s a place you feel safe and loved. Your home can be a car or maybe a boat, a tent, or you could even live on a plane. It won’t matter, that is ... YOUR HOME.
