My Safe Place

My safe place is my home and here are some reasons why- Everyday when I wake up I have a smile on my face. Playing games, watching TV, having so much fun! Everyday my mom makes delicious food that I can smell from across the room, I can do things I like and my family won’t judge. My home is my safe place and that is why it means everything to me. I have a lot of reasons why my safe place is my home. First, I get to do things I love doing and nobody would judge me. On the other hand, the world outside is full of people who could be negative and say things like, “Why is she doing that? She looks so weird, I bet she has no friends!” Well some people wouldn’t just straight up tell you that so how would I know? I know because I catch people staring at me weirdly or I hear people whisper to their friends about me. Now this doesn’t always happen but if it happens sometimes, it’s normal. Secondly, everyday my mom always makes delicious food that I can smell from miles away, sometime my dad makes food as well but it is mostly my mom. My parents food is the best and no food can beat theirs, not even McDonald's as a kid. Lastly, I get to play games everyday whenever I want but not too long which I get because my parents want my eyes to be healthy On the other hand, I get to play fun games on my computer with my friends and my three sisters. These are the reasons why my home is my safe place.
