A Home Everybody Deserves

I feel welcomed at home. When I open the door to my home the warm air feels like a big hug and my dog licks and jumps on me to welcome me. I smell a delicious meal my mom made for me to enjoy and my family awaits me. I know I am welcome at home. Everyone deserves to feel welcomed somewhere. I feel very comfortable at home. Every Saturday we huddle in fluffy blankets and pillows on the couch to watch movies and eat popcorn. My bed is where I can really relax after a tiring day and I can lay there on my pillow under my big thick blanket, if I had a bad day it all starts to disappear once I am in a dream. I can finally enjoy a peaceful sleep. Everybody needs a place where they can sleep. I feel really safe inside my home. I have a roof over my head to protect me from the crazy weather outside and also to keep me warm on a freezing day or to keep me cool on a hot day. My garage is like a hood and delivers me safely to the car so I don’t have to feel the freezing cold snow in winter, soaking rain in spring, or the boiling sun in summer. I have a safe place to live. Everyone needs a safe place to live. I know I am cared for at home. My mom helps me when I am struggling with things. My dad teaches me and my sister to make cool things in the summer like a treehouse. Every night my mom and dad come into my room, tuck me in and kiss me goodnight. I am cared for at home. Everybody should feel loved somewhere.
