The Meaning Of Home

Home can have lots of meanings. You could have multiple homes. Some people don't have a house but there could be home there because home is where the heart is. If it makes you happy it can be home. I have multiple homes like volleyball courts, ski hills, my house and much more. In the end, home is where your heart is. First, home and house aren't the same. There’s a lot of things that are similar between them though. In my home it's like the memories make everything alive. You look at my couch and see my family watching a movie. At the table, you see me eating with my dogs underneath. In my kitchen you’ll see me squirt icing all over. Home and house can be different but they can be similar too. Next, I'm going to talk about how family and pets can make you feel at home even if you’re not in a house. In my home I can run into my dads arms when I get home. If I have a bad day my dogs are always there. I love my dogs and family so much and they make everything better. In my home there are so many feelings that I love. First, In my home there is this love for each family member that just can’t come out in words. In my home I feel safe and comfortable. I feel respect in my home. It's safe for me to be me. I feel so many emotions when I walk into my home. One of the biggest similarities between house & home is that you have to build both. Home doesn't mean house. House is a building versus homes need heart. I'm so grateful for Habitat for Humanity that helps prevent homelessness all around the world.
