The Meaning of My Home
Home is not just a building; it’s a place where memories are made, where you feel welcome, safe, and loved.
In my home I smell fresh hot cookies cooking in the oven. I also smell the fresh air the comes through the opened windows. Finally, the smell of soft foamy soap comes from the bathroom.
In my home I hear people laughing at jokes that aren’t funny and talking. The loud blaring tv that’s on also, the very loud vacuum sucking all the dirt up. Finally, my brothers were playing without arguing.
In my home I taste freshly baked homemade cookies that are delicious. I also tasted the warm hot spaghetti sitting at the dinner table ready to be eaten.
In my home, I see cool green plants sitting on the windowsill. I see my nice big brown two-story house and one more thing is I see the dining table with plates set out.
In my home I feel the soft, comfy, big grey couch sitting in the living room. I also feel the hard wooden floor I’m walking on. Lastly, the book I’m reading with a smooth cover.
That’s the meaning of my home.
