When I was younger, I was terrified of moving houses. I was scared of losing my home. But as Iโ€™ve grown older, Iโ€™ve realized that home isnโ€™t a place in the worldโ€”itโ€™s a place in the heart. Itโ€™s built on three important things: ongoing support, a sense of belonging, and the new experiences and adventures each day brings. We all have a home; we just need to find it. The new experiences and adventures each day brings can make any place feel like home. Whether itโ€™s going on a hike, watching a new movie, or visiting friends or family, there is always something waiting to be discovered. Even ordinary days hold opportunities for joy and curiosity. When we embrace those moments, we begin to feel comfortable, excited, and connected to the world around us. At the same time, home is a sense of belonging. Itโ€™s where you can truly be yourselfโ€”whether youโ€™re a bookworm, an athlete, a gamer, or even a tap-dancing dragon. At home, you arenโ€™t judged or teased for what you love. Your opinions matter. You donโ€™t feel left behind. Instead, you feel accepted, valued, and understood. Most importantly, home is built on ongoing support. Whatever path you choose, you should feel encouraged rather than judged. You shouldnโ€™t be anxious about how others will react to your decisions. In a true home, you are supported through both your highs and your lows. That steady support can lead you to marvellous things. Go to the place you can call home and acknowledge the people that give you this astounding feeling. Home is where your presence makes an impact. For home isnโ€™t a physical building, itโ€™s a feeling. A feeling of support, belonging and new experiences. A heart is what makes a home.
