Do you like food? Me too! I especially love making sweet treats for my family. Baking has become one of my favorite things to do, especially on weekends when everyone is home and relaxed. Sometimes even my cat joins us in the kitchen, which makes everything even more fun. The best part about baking isn’t just eating the desserts afterward—it’s spending time with the people I love. Cooking with my mom means a lot to me. If I didn’t get to bake with her, I probably wouldn’t even try to make the recipes on my own. She teaches me how to measure ingredients, mix batter, and be patient while things are in the oven. Those small moments together are what make baking so special. My cat is also part of the experience, even though he can be very strange. He’s a picky eater and usually refuses human food when my mom offers it to him. He’ll sniff it, lick it once, and walk away like he’s too fancy for it. But when I give him something, he suddenly loves it and always wants more! Whenever we take out the salmon bag, he comes running. He also hides under the window and waits for someone to look outside so he can surprise them. Even though he can be weird, I still love him. On weekends, my mom and I bake cakes, muffins, and other treats. Baking is amazing because it brings people together. You don’t have to be perfect at it. What matters most is being with your family, laughing, helping each other, and creating happy memories at home.
