Home Isn't Just

Home isn't just furniture, a roof or walls. Home isn't a house made of bricks. Home holds memories in all of its halls. Home is where you pretend with sticks. Home feels like the warmth of the fire roaring so bright. It sounds like excitement when Dad comes home in the twilight. Home tastes like chamomile tea with honey and brewed a bit too long. It smells like spaghetti, sauce slightly made wrong. It looks like hugs that are always prolonged. So home isn't just a house you live in, it is the love & laughter that fills it. P.S thank you Habitat for Humanity for what you do!
