Home is not the same as a house
A home is not just a house. A house is a place that can be small or big or all sorts of shapes and sizes, but a home can be anything. A home is somewhere where your family is, not just where you live. A home can be anywhere, not just in one place. That’s why a home and a house are not the same.
For me a home is a place that makes you feel happy because of the people that live there. For me, my home has my parents, my sister, my brother, and my cats. You might think “that’s not a lot” but it is just the right amount. My home is not too much, nor too little. All my family makes me feel special.
My home is like my “happy place” because of my family. My parents help me when I’m having a hard time and try to fix it. My sister always knows a lot about stuff like middle school and things I might need to know, and tells me things I don’t think our parents need to know. My brother always loves to play. My cats are funny, and always cheer me up. That’s why whenever we move it always feels like “home.”
For all these reasons that is why home is not the same as a house.
