What Home Means to Me
To me, home is much more than just a house. Home is where you feel safe, loved and comfortable and not afraid. Home is where you wake up and feel happy and loved, home is like a warm hug like it's hugging you when you feel sad and not a sick blanket that makes you feel bad. When I come home from school, I feel a tiny little sense of joy rushing through me when I see my white fluffy dog named Atlas. He always smiles at me and wags his super fluffy white tail at me and gives me lots of hugs even when I'm not sad or mad. Sometimes, when I come home my dog is not there. That's probably because Atlas is on a walk with my loving and caring parents. When my dad comes back with my puppy, Atlas always jumps up on me and sends me lots of love and starts wagging his white fluffy tail again. Everybody in my family, including my dog Atlas, has a different safe place but mine is my nice cozy room. When I feel scared or sad I go in my cozy bed and snuggle with my comfortable and fluffy blanket and watch my favorite tv show or read a book. Sometimes I just want to be alone in my room. Normally, after I leave my room I smell the aromatic, delicious smell of my moms homemade food. I walk quickly to the kitchen and take my delicious dinner and eat it all up, because I love it so much, but sometimes I'm just not hungry at all. After I eat I normally lay on my warm and comfy couch and watch some tv. After that, I warm up my fingers to begin practicing my piano. I only have two songs that I'm working on right now but they're a bit difficult but I can almost play them perfectly. I'm really happy and proud of myself. But after that big and long day, I go to my nice and cozy bed and think about how lucky i am to have a home.
