Home is not a House

A Home is such a special place to live. A house is a building with walls, windows and no people, no blankets, pillows or any love. Home smells like my nan's turkey dinner and my dad’s bbq ribs. Yum! Home tastes like my mom’s awesome supper and my step mom’s hot sweet and sour meatballs. In my home, I hear my family's laughter, chatter and the funny movie that is on tv. In my home, I see my family sitting on the couch, watching a movie and eating buttery popcorn. It is oh so good! In my home, I feel happy, safe and more than ever I feel loved. Home is not just a thing, it is everything Thank you Habitat for Humanity for giving me this awesome opportunity to write and to donate.
