What home means to me

Home is like a warm hug. It keeps you safe inside. I love when I walk inside my house after school and smell fresh homemade cookies, home is the place where I can feel safe with the people I love at home. I feel loved, trusted and confident. Home is my safe place where my brother is there to hug me. Home is where I live and where I'm proud. In my kitchen is where fresh meals are cooked by my poppy and it’s where happiness lies. After supper we play card games at the kitchen table. Hugs and kisses are all I need. I'm happy wherever my family is. I'm thankful for my home because home is where I'm happy and my happiness is with my family.
