If Home Were the 5 Senses

If home were five senses this is what it would be. Taste is the homemade meals my mom makes and the fresh cookies out of the oven that Grandma makes. Home looks like a happy and safe place where I live and I can get comfortable. Where my brother feels safe to run around like a crazy child. Home feels like a cozy place, a happy place, a safe place and lots of fun. Home smells like the watermelon candle that Mom always has lit when I get home. Home sounds like laughter, happiness and jokes everywhere. It is also a place with your family and friends. Your home is where you eat, sleep and live. That is why I am very thankful for my home. When I am scared I don’t have to worry because I always feel safe with my family .When I am mad or sad my mom helps me calm down. When I am hungry my mom either gets me a snack or makes me something. I am always very grateful for my home and family. It is not just walls, the roof and the floor, it is a place where you can feel safe and comfortable. Those are the reasons why I love my family and home.
