House or Home

Home is a place where I live, but a house is where someone else lives. Home is where my family is. A house can be made of colorful walls and fancy decorations, but a home is where I feel belonged. A home holds memories and laughter. Home is also very important because you live there since you born and until you are an adult. A house is for shelter, but a home is a place where one feels safe. A house is empty not full of love, but home has all the above. A hose is without happiness, but a home has a lot of that. You can own a house but not feel at home in it. Home is a place that you feel welcomed in. A house is lonely with no friend or family. A home is a place where I feel wanted. A house is hallways with doors up for sale on the street. My home is comfy and cozy and smells like vanilla bean candles lit in my living room and my dog chilling on my couch with me. But a house is not comfy and cozy because it's too fancy and doesn’t feel like my home. That is what makes my home so special.
