The Meaning of Home

Home is a place where I go every day after school. Excitedly, my dogs greet me at the door as if I just got them a new bone. I feel happy, joyful, and loved. Being loved feels like sitting by a crackling fire with hot cocoa on a cold day. Every day I think of all the memories we have made over the years. Like when I learned how to ride a bike. I was so excited it was like I got a new dog. The kitchen fills with the smell of fresh delicious brownies. A home can’t be made with wood or concrete but only with love and family.
