Home Is A Place To Belong

Home is a place where people feel safe and respected, it's a safe place to express your emotions, and home is a place to be with your loved ones (like family and friends). Home doesn’t necessarily have to be where you live, it's a place to feel comfortable. You don’t have to be where home is to feel it, you can feel at home even if it's not physically there. Home is always there with you in your heart. The thing that reminds me of home is my favorite stuffy Buddy. When I feel down he’s there to comfort me. He is the light in the dark and the thing that gives me hope. He is awesome. My home is with my family; my twin sister, my brother, my parents, and my dog. My family and home are always there for me. My twin and I play together, my brother tortures me, my Mama almost always sleeps, my Papa makes me laugh, and my dog scratches while he jumps for his toy when I hold it up high tight. My home is awesome and great, home is a place to belong. Cherish your Home always. Home doesn’t have to have strong walls and ceilings, or a sturdy roof, it can be anything, even an object because home is something to keep, and to cherish. Home is something to help you when you're stuck on an island surrounded by sharks all alone, think of home, and you won’t feel so lonely, think of home and you will be surrounded by friends and family. And that is what home feels like for me.
