What home means to me

Home is a safe place for hard days and a place full of laughter! Home is a place where I belong, and I don't feel like a stranger. A place where you can feel cared for and looked after. Rather than feeling like I could get hurt any time, I feel protected and safe everyday when I am with my family. Do you ever think that home can feel like a puzzle? Well sometimes I feel like I am loved, but then sometimes I can feel distanced. I get included like when we are watching a movie or playing monopoly. Since I can express my emotions without being judged by my family, I can feel like I am respected at home. Even though we have our ups and downs we will always be there for one another. At home respect is quite important so that nobody gets treated unfairly. Therefore home is a safe welcoming place. Even though some days could be difficult, the way my family feels about me will never change about me.
