My Happy Place

My home is the place where I sleep. It is a place where I make memories – like when I come home and I sit down and eat my dad's famous ribs and my mom’s cookies. A home does not need four walls – it is a place where you eat, sleep, support each other like a team, and make memories with your family members. One of my favourite memories is when my brother started to walk. Another memory is when I got kittens, they were so cute. I am thankful for the roof over my head and my family beside me. My home keeps me warm. I do not care if my home is old and has cracks on the walls. My home is special. It does not matter if my family and I have fights, we are still a team. We will always be a family. I hope you like my writing.
