Home Can Be Anything
Home could be anything. It could be a sport or even a school subject. My home is hockey. Hockey feels like home to me because it is my favourite sport.
I see my Mom and Dad super happy after I win the Jordan Boyd tournament. I also see sticks and gloves in the air when we are skating to the goalie after we win the tournament. This makes me happy and proud of my teammates and myself.
I taste the nice cold and creamy ice cream after we win a hockey game. I can also taste steak after the game because me and my friends, Max and Clark, will go out to eat after most games. Doing this, makes new memories with my friends and family which makes me feel at home.
I can hear a loud noise when I take a slapshot and it hits the boards. I can also hear the loud buzzer after every period. One last thing that I can hear is the loud goal horn after me or my teammates score. This makes me feel a sense of gratitude because I am able to play hockey and my parents can afford this passion.
I feel the high fives of the other teams when we line up to shake hands. I also feel really proud and happy of my teammates and myself because we came so far and we deserved to win.
I smell all my teammates in the dressing room while we take off our gear. This might be the worst smell ever, but it reminds me of how hard I work every game.
