Not Sticks and Stones

When I go home, Big Beary is always the first one that greets me. He gives me lots of greetings. He’s just always either on the couch or on my bed. When we're playing board games, watching movies or just sitting on the couch and reading, Big Beary is always there. When I'm in bed I'm always snuggling him. I can't sleep without him. He feels like a reminder of home because he used to belong to my mum . He's my favorite stuffy out of one hundred and seven. I’ve always brought him everywhere around the house . When I have nightmares I can always rely on Big Beary and my parents . Big Beary always makes me feel safe. He's like a shield from the cold and harsh Canadian winter . Big Beary is more than just a stuffy, he's a part of home.Sometimes when I’m down it feels like Big Beary is just saying “you can do it.” Big Beary is not just fluff and stitches for me he is one of the thousands of the things for me that makes home. To me home feels like support. Big Beary is not just nice for me on the inside, he's very soft and cozy on the outside. And when I go to bed I tuck him in and say good night.
