Home Isn't Just Walls

Home isn't just a house built with wooden beams and careful measurements, it's a place where you feel welcomed and loved. Each wall holds a distinct memory from the past, whether it’s laughter or hidden arguments. The walls don’t just stand there, they beam bright with the soft light peeking from the curtains, and the memories they hold dear. The most special room to me is the computer room, not just for the computer, but for the moments of laughter and late night games that fill the walls. It is where my friends and I have sleepovers, spreading the thin blankets across the pull-out sofa and staying up way too late, eating candy and sharing secrets. If I ever had to leave my home, I would miss the loud, creaking sound of the stairs and the way the sunlight filters through the thin curtains. But most of all, I would miss Maya scratching at the door, waiting for me to get back home from school Home is not just a place, it is the warmth that wraps around the air with its warm arms, home is where you belong.
