Home Is a Place like No Other

Home is a place where many of my best memories are made. When I’m down on myself I can always think of some of the memories that I made in my house over the years. My home has many of my favorite memories all hung up on a wall. My house provides privacy for me when I wake up and put clean clothes on. When I spill something on my clothes I am always confident that I have a fresh pair of clean clothes waiting for me. When I go to bed I always try to find the coziest pajamas I have. This makes me feel lucky to have an unlimited supply of clean clothes. I know not everyone can say the same thing. When I'm home and I am feeling emotional or I'm hurt I will always have a family member to support me. When I play a sport my family is always my biggest fan. When there’s a bad storm outside and the power goes out my family and home always provide shelter and I feel protected. When I’m upstairs or downstairs, I can smell the delicious meal my family is cooking in the kitchen. Home feels like a massive shield surrounding me and keeping me safe. At home I don't worry about anything because my family and home are here to protect me. When I’m out and about and I see anything scary or strange, I know I can run home and my family will be there for me.
