What Home Means To Me

Home is a place where I feel free to sing and express my feelings. I have my family in my home, my nanny and my brothers, and my uncle, too. My home makes me feel happy because my nan makes sure we are cozy and warm, whenever we come in from the cold. As soon as you step into my house you'll feel warmth and you'll get hot chocolate from my nan. She gives us sandwiches and a dessert, too. The desert is ice cream with extra chocolate syrup because that’s our favorite. At night I smell popcorn and butter in the microwave. In my home we have a family movie night in my room. I see my fish in my home and her name is Goldie. She makes me happy. In my house I hear my nan talking to my uncle and I hear my brothers playing with trucks in the living room. I think it’s important for everyone to have a place to call home because when there are storms they can stay inside where it is warm and happy, just like my home. My home is really special to me but I also feel bad for people that do not have homes. If I win I could buy a home for someone which would mean a lot to me. If I did not have a home I wouldn't feel safe outside where bad things could happen. Everyone deserves a house that they can call home.
