What does Home Mean to You?

Home is memories, love, and all the hardships along the way. Every time I come home, it makes me smile. I smell perfumes mixing in the air, it smells like home. I pass by a part of the house, remembering my dog Zoey, who once was here. Memories are always bitter-sweet. I smell my grandparents cooking their steak in the kitchen. It smells like spices and maybe just a little burnt smell. I look on the walls, where old and new pictures hang. Home means safety and love, and the hardships that have happened along the way. Home is where the heart is.
