Home

Home, home is not just a dot on the map, there is much more to the dot. A house does not define a home, and a home does not befine a house. Home can be the road, area or country you live in. Home is not the same for everybody, and it is definitely not the same dot. The people close to you like friends or family or even the people around you, can be part of home. So can your school, your sports team, your club or group, or even the people you don't like very much. The home dot sometimes moves or changes shape as you move or make advancements in life. When you move houses, I think only a portion of the dot comes with you, whether it's a bigger portion or a smaller one. For me, home is the familiar creak of the floorboards under my feet and the sound of the jet engine of the PS4 filling the area when I play video games. It's the kind of noise that would annoy anyone else; but to me, it shows everything’s how it should be. It's my friends and my family who know me best. And of course it's our dog Moe, who's always near, and my brother's cats, Ash and Jinx, weaving through the house and laying in front of the doors. Home isn't just a building; it's the small, ordinary moments that make me feel comfort and belonging. “A house is not a home until you put the furnace next to the crafting table.”-Minecraft community.
