My home

My home is the place I have lived in for my whole life, and it means more to me than I can fully explain! My home is where I feel I belong, where I feel safest, and where everything feels familiar to me . My home is also the place where I grew up, learned, and created the memories that I share with my family. My home is the place where I can sleep peacefully at night, knowing I am protected. My home is where I enjoy my delicious Tamilian meals, whether that's butter chicken with rotti, biryani, or rice with curries. The home is often filled with noise and life—my little brother and I watching YouTube, my parents talking about work, moments of laughter while watching funny shorts, or us as a family playing the game of life! A home is more than just a building made of walls and a roof; it is a place filled with love, comfort, and emotional connection. It is difficult to put into words, because a true home is felt in the heart. This is why Habitat for Humanity matters so deeply, because they help families build not just houses, but homes where people can feel safe, valued, and hopeful for the future.
