What Home Means to Me

Home to me looks like the forest with the green walls and the yellow kitchen. My Mother’s dream home that she now gets to live in. Home to me looks like the living room astray with pillows covered in hair, because my cat needs to try every one . Home to me smells like peanut butter . It smells like peanut butter because it’s the only thing my picky sister will eat on toast. Another reason it smells like peanut butter is because my dad has it for breakfast every day. Even my cat loves it . If she hears the toaster you can hear her begging from anywhere in the house. Home to me sounds like laughter. Because my dad is a very goofy guy, he is constantly getting my mom to laugh till she can’t stop . When it doesn't sound like laughter it sounds like us tuning into my dad’s childhood game. It is fast paced with no turns. You need to focus on a lot of different things at the same time. Which is my moms type of game. That is what home means to me.
