What Home Means to me
What does “home” mean? What does it mean to you?
HOME has a deep meaning to everyone. For me, home means a lot. Home means a place to live, where you live. Like where you stay most of the time. It’s a place where most people belong. Home is a nice cozy place, or a place to have parties, or a place to spend time with family and friends, or a place to enjoy the peace and quiet when you’re alone.
Leaving your “forever” home can be hard, Especially when it was the house you grew up in with all the memories, and friends you promised that you guys would grow up together. But at the end of the day, you’re happy with the place you grew up in, and sold it to another person that needs a home. And at the same time, you get comfortable and make new friends. For me, home is a simple, cozy place you stay and live in and also a place where you can design and decorate however you want.
I’m very grateful that I have a roof over my head because some people here don’t have a home and either live in a shelter or even worse, outside in the cold.
Some people don’t even have homes and others don’t understand how heartbreaking it is. Like imagine seeing a person who doesn’t have a home, sleeping on the street in the freezing cold or in rain. The point is to be grateful that there is a roof over your head and a loving family that built it for you to live and watch you build another new family.
In the end, home is a meaningful and caring place. And I am so glad that I have a place to call home.
