Meaning of Home

A HOME is far more than a house. A home has everything you need…. Meanwhile a house… NAH, man it feels empty…EMPTY !!!!!! it’s not as familiar as your home, and it is just too quiet. A house is a physical structure made of walls, doors and a roof. A house can be bought or sold to other people, but a home is built through relationships and memories. A HOME is way more than a physical place to live ; it is where a person feels relaxed and safe, and it is filled with happiness and memories that would never get forgotten. HOME gives a sense of stability and warmth in a changing world. No matter how far we travel, home is where the heart longs to return. HOME is where love is shared freely, even during difficult times. It provides comfort and peace after a long and tiring stress day. I remember when I came to Canada in 2020, and it felt empty because my home country was actually in China. My mom and I rented a house so we could sleep , eat and play, but it feels empty because it wasn’t my HOME in China. As time passed we slowly bought a house, and we slowly and slowly built memories and connections in the house, and it slowly became my home today. In the end, HOME is not just a place we live, but a feeling we carry with us. It is where love begins, memories are made, and hearts feel at peace.
