What Is A Home?

A home to me is where I feel loved, safe and cared for. Home is a place where I can be me mad, sad, excited or happy without feeling like I'm being judged. If you are lost, home is a light in the dark guiding you to a place where you tell stories and make new and fun memories with family and friends. Home is where you might have a pet. I have a Boston terrier named Frankie even though he isn't the cuddliest thing. I love him and I know he loves me back usually, I think. Home to me doesn't have to be a building, it's where you feel safe and invited. A home to me is where you can snuggle in beside the fireplace with loved ones and watch as the fire burns slowly. To me , home is where you can come after a long day and sit as the sun goes down and watch as the whole sky lights up with colour, red, orange yellow and pink watch the light turns to dark and all you can see is the stars and the moon. That is what a home is to me.
