Home

Home is where the heart is. Home is where we play with our pets and have fun together. I love my pets so much, we snuggle up and watch a movie together. They keep me company when I am feeling under the weather. Home is fishing with my dad. Early morning, packed lunch, hop on the skidoo, and off we go. We head to our secret spot, crescent moon shaped pond, surrounded by snow covered trees, and complete silence except for the tree blowing in the breeze and the crunching of the snow under our feet. Feel the fish biting on your line, reel it up and see what you find. Home is fun to play games together at night. My brother and I play Fornite late at night, having laughs and seeing who we can fight. Me and my dad play NHL, spending time together in any weather. We shoot, we score, we play some more. Home is home cooked meals prepared by my mom. The pan is sizzling, the steam is rising, I can smell the curry chicken frying. We sat around the table talking about our day. And sometimes it’s my turn to cook meals for my family. Home is at the cabin with family and friends. Speeding down the hill on our sleds, when we are too cold to stay outside, we head inside by the cozy fire. We drink hot chocolate and eat junk food. Home is where we make memories forever and ever.
