Where Home Really Is
What if home is a feeling not a place? Home isn’t just a place with walls and a roof. It’s the feeling of being safe, loved and understood. Home can be hearing familiar voices in another room, sharing delicious meals or feeling comforted by my family. Home can be feeling safe to share your thoughts, laughing without feeling judged, or relaxing around people who love me as me. Home can be relaxing after a long day, enjoying quiet moments or being in a place where I feel calm. In the end home is less about where someone lives and more about where I feel at peace.
